NOTEBOOK MODE
Notebook mode switches off the TAICHI’s outer screen so that it can be used as a standard notebook PC with a Full HD 11.6” or 13.3” screen with ultra-wide viewing angles, QWERTY keyboard and large multi-touch trackpad. The comfortable, full-width keyboard is perfect for extended productivity use and there’s even an automatic backlight that adjusts its brightness to suit ambient lighting conditions.
TABLET MODE
Close the TAICHI’s lid and it’s instantly transformed into a tablet with an 11.6” or 13.3” Full HD display. 10-point capacitive multi-touch gives complete fingertip control, but the supplied stylus also works just like pen on paper with the ASUS SuperNote app. Built-in motion sensors also make the TAICHI the ideal handheld gaming device, while 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4 connect to the latest wireless devices.
MIRROR MODE
Mirror mode makes the TAICHI capable of something no other notebook or tablet can provide — two screens in one. With the lid open and Mirror mode enabled, the two back-to-back screens display the same image, which makes the TAICHI perfect for software demos or a shared movie experience. IPS display technology ensures a bright, vibrant image with wide viewing angles on both screens, too.
DUAL SCREEN MODE
In Dual Screen mode, the TAICHI is no longer one computer — it’s two. When enabled, the back-to-back screens can be used by two people at once, one with the keyboard and trackpad; the other with multi-touch. Dual Screen mode is also ideal for presentations and the supplied Screen Share app lets the presenter see the script on one screen while the audience views slides on the other.
